It Started with Paper Lists.
Before VoterPoint 360 became a political technology ecosystem, it started as a practical solution to a problem I kept seeing in campaigns: disorganized voter lists, scattered information, and too much time lost trying to manage the work.
VoterPoint 360 is a connected political technology ecosystem built exclusively for Democratic and Non-partisan campaigns from real campaign and public-service experience. What began as a simple Microsoft Access database to help campaigns move beyond paper lists eventually became VoterPro. Today, it has evolved into VoterPoint 360: a broader suite of tools for campaigns before, during, and after Election Day.
From a Practical Fix to a Campaign Technology Platform
The earliest version of this work was not built in a boardroom or based on a software trend. It was built because campaigns needed help getting organized.
I saw campaign teams and volunteers working hard with paper lists, handwritten notes, spreadsheets, and disconnected information. People were putting in the effort, but the systems around them made the work harder than it needed to be.
So I started building tools to help campaigns organize voter data, track activity, and run more efficiently. The first version was a Microsoft Access database. That practical fix eventually became VoterPro.
"I was not trying to build a software company. I was trying to help campaigns get organized."
Built by Someone Who Has Been There
VoterPoint 360 is shaped by more than technology experience. It is shaped by years of hands-on political experience from multiple sides of the process. I have been a volunteer. I have knocked on doors. I have helped organize campaigns. I have managed campaigns. I have written and designed campaign mail. I have served as a Councilman. I have served as Mayor.
Those experiences changed the way I think about political technology. Campaign software should not be built from theory. It should be built from the realities campaigns face every day: limited time, limited staff, changing information, Election Day pressure, and the need to reach the right voters at the right time.
Door knocking taught us why field tools need to be simple and practical.
Campaign management taught us why data, volunteers, communications, and GOTV need to work together.
Campaign communications taught us why messaging tools should be connected to the voter data.
Public service taught us that the work does not end after Election Day.
"Technology should not make campaigns more complicated. It should help people do the work better."
What Better Organization Can Do for a Campaign
When I became involved in local politics, I saw many of the same challenges again: printed lists, scattered data, basic campaign materials, and limited technology supporting the campaign operation. The campaigns had committed people, but the process needed more structure.
Over time, we introduced better organization, stronger voter data practices, improved field operations, and more professional campaign communications. Those changes helped campaigns operate with more discipline and focus.
As the work became more organized, local campaigns became increasingly competitive and successful, with stronger margins and higher voter participation over time.
Elections are always won by people: candidates, volunteers, campaign teams, supporters, and voters. Technology does not replace that work. But the right systems can help good people run better campaigns.
VoterPro Evolved. The Vision Got Bigger.
Many people knew the original platform as VoterPro. VoterPro began as a voter-management solution. But over the years, the challenges campaigns faced kept expanding.
Campaigns were not just struggling to store voter data. They were struggling because every part of the campaign lived in a different system: one tool for voter data, another for email, another for texting, another for voice outreach, another for the website, another spreadsheet for volunteers, and another process for Election Day.
That is why VoterPro evolved into VoterPoint 360. The new name reflects a larger vision: one connected ecosystem for the full political journey, from campaign launch to Election Day and beyond.
"VoterPro was not abandoned. It evolved."
A Complete View of the Political Journey
The 360 represents the bigger mission behind the company. Campaigns need tools to plan, organize, communicate, turn out voters, and win. But the journey does not stop when the campaign is over.
After Election Day comes public service. That is why VoterPoint 360 is being built as a suite of products for both campaigns and elected officials.
Today, the first two products are fully operational:
- VoterPoint 360 Campaign Suite: A modern campaign operations platform for voter data, targeting, field, canvassing, volunteers, fundraising, GOTV, Election Day operations, and direct voter communication.
- Campaign Website CMS: A campaign website builder designed specifically for political campaigns, helping candidates manage content, events, supporters, updates, and their public digital presence.
- Future Products: Additional tools are in development, including solutions for elected officials after they win, such as constituent management and other public-service workflows.
"The 360 means before, during, and after Election Day."
Our Philosophy
Every product decision at VoterPoint 360 starts with a real-world problem. We do not add features just because competitors have them. We build tools because campaigns and elected officials need practical solutions that make their work easier.
Campaign Suite exists because campaigns need voter data, targeting, field operations, GOTV, and voter communication to work together.
Campaign Website CMS exists because campaigns need websites built around campaign realities, not generic website workflows.
Future constituent-management tools are being built because winning the election is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of public service.
"Every feature has a story behind it."
The Difference
One of the biggest values of VoterPoint 360 is that campaigns can keep their data and their action tools connected. With Campaign Suite, campaigns can buy or import voter data, filter voters by multiple parameters, and then reach those same voters through integrated communication tools.
That means campaigns can send:
- Text Messages
- Voice Drops
without exporting voter lists into separate systems. The goal is simple: reduce friction so campaign teams can spend less time managing spreadsheets and more time talking to voters.
"Stop exporting spreadsheets. Start talking to voters."
